The growing development of coastal areas includes zones affected by significant earthquakes, which requires specialized knowledge in design and construction, as well as experience in various fields involving coastal port structures.

Based on this need, the Mexican technical societies AMIP and SMIS have organized to hold an international symposium with the goal of capitalizing on the experience of specialized companies and renowned international consultants, bringing this knowledge to the Mexican and international community.
